The opening times for the Chorlton Beer Festival 2022 will be:

  • Thursday 7th July: 6pm – 10.30pm
  • Friday 8th July: 6pm – 10.30pm
  • Saturday 9th July: 1pm – 9.30pm*

After we close each evening, the pubs & bars of Chorlton stay open later, so there is plenty of opportunity to continue sampling beers & ciders in the local area.

* Saturday closing dependent on beer & cider availability

Where are we:

The festival is held in the beautiful surrounds of St Clement’s Church.

St Clements is located at the junction of Edge Lane and St Clement’s Road, midway between Wilbraham Road & Chorlton Green.

Prices & tickets

Online ticket sales ended at midnight on Wednesday 6th July. Remaining tickets will be sold on the gate subject to availability and capacity.

Online ticket sales were very strong so early attendance is recommended for best chance of entry..

Entry is £5 per day which includes entrance to the festival, your souvenir glass and festival programme.

CAMRA Members

CAMRA members pay full price for entry but can collect vouchers for two free half pints of cask beer or cider from the CAMRA Information desk.

Pass outs

Pass outs are allowed. You must continue to wear your wristband. If you choose to leave the site, re-entry will be subject to capacity at time of return. If site is full, entry will be one out, one in.

Tokens

Payment at all beer, cider & gin bars is by token only. Tokens are available from the tent on the left hand side just inside the entrance in £10 and £20 sheets. Your server will strike out the value of each drink you purchase.

Tokens can be purchased with cash or card.

Unused value on part used tokens can be refunded to the nearest full pound only but we would encourage all unused value to be donated to St Clement’s – a registered charity. We would encourage you to only purchase the value of tokens you intend to use – partial tokens to top up value of one last pint can be purchased at the tokens desk (card payments only, the tokens desk does not have change).

Children

The festival welcomes well behaved children on Saturday from 1pm – 7pm. Children will be admitted free of charge.

A range of activities for small children will be provided on the lawn to the front of the church (St Clement’s Road side) organised by Chorlton CofE Primary School PTA.

Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. If your children are found to be disturbing the enjoyment of other festival goers, you may be asked to leave.

All under 18s must be off the festival grounds by 7pm to comply with the terms of our license.

Dogs

Well behaved dogs on leads are permitted at the festival. With the exception of assistance dogs, dogs are not permitted in either beer hall.

Dogs are not allowed in the children’s activities area on the St Clement’s Road side of the church.

You are responsible for removing your dog’s waste.

If your dog is found to be disturbing the enjoyment of other festival visitors, we reserve the right to ask you to remove your dog from the festival grounds.

Cash Machine

There is no cash machine on the festival site. The nearest machines are at Tesco Express on Barlow Moor Road, Barclays on Wilbraham Road and Nat West on corner of Barlow Moor Road and Wilbraham Road.

.Entrance and beer tokens can be purchased by contactless and Chip & PIN payment at the festival.

Allergens information for all beers and ciders is available on request – just ask at the bars.
