Chorlton Beer & Cider Festival is entirely staffed by volunteers.

We have volunteers from the Church, the community, and CAMRA members. You do not need to be a CAMRA member to volunteer or work on the bars. This is a community event so get involved!

    Please indicate the sessions you are able to work below.

    Blue sessions are setup sessions which involve some manual handling but also opportunity to get involved with the technical side of the festival - building stillages and bars, cooling, connecting handpumps etc. The green sessions are open to the public and will mostly need servers for the bars but plenty of other jobs are required.

    Sunday set-up and takedown sessions are key times when lots of able bodied volunteers are needed, please consider volunteering.

    * Close to public at 22:00 Thurs / Fri & 21:00 Saturday. After public close on Saturday, volunteers are still needed until approximately midnight to take down stillages in church hall ready for Sunday service. Taxis can be arranged.

    If you volunteer for an open session PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 30 MINUTES BEFORE the start of the session. We will need volunteers from 30 minutes before opening to check tickets on the entrance before bars open.

    People who volunteer for a number of hours at the festival will be provided with a free t-shirt sponsored by RedWillow Brewery. Please let us have your size so we can try and pre-allocate your shirt.
