99 Reasons Bar Logo

At this year’s Chorlton Beer and Cider Festival we are changing things up with our music offer. The 99 Reasons Acoustic Stage is located in the Youth Center (opposite the Blackjack Beers Cask Bar).

We are going for an intimate coffee-shop concert vibe – but with beer instead of coffee!

We are offering an opportunity for any local singer/songwriters or small (2 or 3 person only) acoustic groups to play.

7pm: Lakshmi music

I am a singer/songwriter based in Stockport, and am heavily inspired by The Beatles. I love telling stories through my songs, and so far the majority of my originals are inspired by personal experiences. I released my first single “Road Most Travelled” in Sept 2025 and I’m currently working on a full album.

Granfalloon is the musical project of artist and producer Richard Lomax. Lomax moves between alt-folk acoustica, and lo-fi electronica – focusing on traditional songwriting and not quite traditional storytelling to chisel out small, beautiful moments.

6pm – Red Rae

Red Rae is a northern solo artist with an extra shimmery shine, thanks to her love of sparkly sequins. She describes her music as the love child of Alex Turner’s moody, gritty rock and the beautiful jazz-soul infused vocals of Amy Winehouse. Her influences span from the likes of Ray Charles, Monophonics and Lianne La Havas to White Stripes, White Lies and Hozier. You can follow her on socials at @redraemusic.
