So the dust has settled (and the flood waters drained away) on another Chorlton Beer and Cider Festival.

Almost 4000 of you drank some 6500 pints of cask ale, 2000 pints of keg beer, 1700 pints of cider and perry and over 500 bottles and cans.

We’d like to thank all our visitors for making the festival such a success and all our volunteers without whom it wouldn’t have happened. Thanks also to Blackjack Brewery and all our sponsors and all the breweries, cider producers and gin makers that supplied us.

The Reverend Ken Flood, Rector of St Clement’s Church and organiser of the festival said:

At the end of another successful Festival, on behalf of St Clements, I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported this year’s event. It is a massive collective effort involving organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and also those who attend. I particularly want to thank our friends at CAMRA without whom it would not be possible.

As you may know, here at St Clements, we run a 19th century building as a 21st century community centre and the money raised at the beer festival goes a long way towards maintaining and developing our buildings so that they can be open and accessible to all. Thank you!
